Looking for a perfect fall Airstream camping spot on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula? Presque Isle Campground on Stateline Lake is an excellent choice. I recently stayed in Site #9 with my 27-foot International Airstream, which fit comfortably. This site is right on the lakeshore and even has a private dock—ideal for a peaceful getaway. If you prefer a bit more space, Sites 23 and 24, located just across the road, are larger options.
Keep in mind that the water and electric hookups are on the right side of the campsite, so plan accordingly with hose and cord lengths. The camp hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the clean, well-maintained showers added to the overall great experience. There’s a lovely swimming beach and plenty of hiking trails nearby. Plus, if you’re into mountain biking, the Winman Trails are just a 15-minute drive away.
